北京2018年3月19日电 /美通社/ -- Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI) 近日宣布收购Symeo GmbH，一家总部位于德国慕尼黑的私人公司，专注于新兴无人驾驶汽车和工业应用的RADAR硬件和软件。Symeo公司创新的信号处理算法将有助于ADI公司为客户提供角精度和分辨率均显著改善的RADAR平台。
ADI公司自主交通运输与安全部门副总裁Chris Jacobs指出：“凭借此次收购，ADI公司将能为客户交付功能更全面、竞争力更强的RADAR解决方案。ADI公司拥有行业领先的产品系列，Symeo公司具备系统和算法方面的专业优势，两者相结合将会带来性能更高的RADAR解决方案，在自主系统中实现更加精确的检测功能。”
Symeo公司独有的射频和传感器技术能够实现实时位置检测和距离测量，使得系统集成商和原始设备制造商 (OEM) 能够提供适用于恶劣工业环境的高精度RADAR解决方案，与ADI公司在此领域不断扩充的市场解决方案系列形成互补。
Symeo公司的工业高精度RADAR技术最初是由Siemens AG公司 (XETRA: SIE) 所开发，于2005年由Siemens Technology Accelerator GmbH (STA) 作为独立实体衍生出来。
